Lachenbock Farm (pronounced Lock-en-bock) is a 165 acre working farm nestled in the Northwest corner of Georgia in the town of Villanow. We raise standard Nubian and Miniature Nubian dairy goats, Great Pyrenees livestock guardian dogs and various breeds of chickens.

What do we produce on our slice of paradise? We raise and breed a herd of spoiled rotten dairy goats that produce some of the sweetest, creamiest milk this side of the Mason-Dixon line. From that milk we produce an abundance of handmade, natural soaps, lotions and body care products.

While we’re not an organic farm we do strive to be as natural as possible. Our livestock is vaccinated, we consider it cheap insurance. We also do use antibiotics along with pain relief, when necessary, just as I would use them myself if necessary. We do use conventional wormers (we’ve tried the herbal wormers with zero success) when needed, however we rarely need to. We keep parasites under control through herd management, the use of dry lots, breeding for parasite resistance and pasture rotation. We also grow our own hay and since the majority of our property is wooded with Pine trees, we usually have enough fallen pines to chip up into own stall bedding.

Valerie’s passion extends to her handmade goat milk soap, where the rich nourishment of goat milk meets the artistry of craftsmanship. Each bar of soap is a testament to her unwavering pursuit of quality, carefully curated to provide you with a luxurious, skin-loving experience that we believe will exceed your expectations.
