Puppy Sales Policy

Goat Sales Policy

A $250 non refundable deposit is required to reserve one of our puppies. Puppies need to be picked up between 8-9 weeks of age and balance paid in full at that time. We will not drive to meet buyers or ship puppies, puppies must be picked up at the farm.

We will not allow a puppy to picked up prior to 8 weeks of age, no exceptions, it’s not in the best interests of the puppy. Buyers of reserved puppies will be contacted when the puppy is 7 weeks old to set up a pick up day/time for the following week. We give first choice of pick up times to those traveling the greatest distance.

All puppies are dewormed at 3 1/2 and 7 weeks of age using a rotation of Ivermectin, Fenbendazole and Pyrantel Pamoate. Because our puppies are raised with livestock, we also give coccidia prevention at 3 and 6 weeks of age.

All puppies are given their first age appropriate vaccines at 6-7 weeks old. We do not have the litter seen by a veterinarian unless we feel it’s necessary. It’s part of how we keep the cost of our puppies down.

We will provide documentation for all vaccines and wormers given at time of pick up.

We are more than willing to take a puppy to our local vet for a pre-purchase exam. The cost of that visit is the buyers responsibility.

We reserve the right to decline the sale of any puppy if we feel it’s not an appropriate home for a giant breed livestock guardian dog

A $150 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve one of our goats. Goats need to be picked up within 2 weeks of placing a deposit unless other arrangements have been agreed upon. We do not ship goats, all goats must be picked up at the farm.

Adult goats are sold with registration papers, ADGA for Nubians, MDGA for Mini’s. Our kids are not sold registered, however we do provide the necessary paperwork to complete the registration process with either the ADGA or MDGA. Fees for registration are the buyers responsibilty.

We do not dam raise. All kids are lambar/bottle fed a combination of goats milk and/or replacer. We will provide a nipple with enough goats milk to transition the kids over several days to avoid scours and GI issues.

None of our goats are polled. All our kids are disbudded within the first 10 days of life. We will not sell a kid that has not been disbudded unless we have received full payment before the kid is 5 days old.

All kids receive coccidia prevention every 3 weeks. We do not vaccinate kids for CDT, vaccinations are the owners responsibility.

All sales are final and goats are sold “as is” with no health or performance guarantee. Since we have no control over what an animal is exposed to once we turn over posession, we will not accept the return of a goat/kid for any reason once it has left our farm, even briefly.

Goats are herding animals, they require the companionship of another goat or other livestock. Do not keep just one goat, they will not thrive alone.
